First Aid Camp.

A First Aid Camp will be held on the 29th and 30th November.
The camp will be held in school.
Fee is Rm20.
Foods are not included. Scouts are needed to bring your own food.
If you are interested, please see Ahmad Fikhriey 4 Abk or Tashya Viknesh Mahadevan 4 Hish and confirm to them BY WEDNESDAY 3rd November 2010. We need atleast 20 scouts.

Jamboree Kelantan,

Attention all scouts, we will be picking 30 participants for the Jamboree Kelantan. We need :

10 AJK's,
10 Pengakap Muda, and
10 Pengakap Remaja

Whoever that are interested please hand in yr names to Ahmad Fikhriey, Tashya Viknesh or Kishondra Kumar.

Students interested will be filtered. We will filter according to yr attendence, paying of fees.

In addition to that, only Form 2 and Form 4 Scouts are allowed to go. Log books must be handed in.

Lencana Usaha

Greetings! To those Form One students who are interested in getting their Lencana Usaha. You can participate in a Keahlian Camp at SMK Pendeta Zaaba. Make sure to daftar there on Saturday, 17th July. The camp will be held until Sunday. Total fee is RM20 INCLUDING foods and the badge (:

It wasn't easy, but we made it.

This is an important message that Puan Zainab has wanted me to tell you guys ;
Buku Log Lencana Expedisi must be passed up this week and your Buku Log Maju must be handed in by August.

Hello there. Right, I know I should finish the 6km post first, but this post is kinda urgent. Yes it's an ASAP to be published post told by Pn Zainab. So here goes:

Tomorrow (9th July 2010) we will be having our 40km expedition. And for your information dear scouts, these are the activities that we are going to do:

Upon arrival, we will pitch up our tents. Then after getting ready, we will have our lunch and a little brief explanation about the activities. At night, each group will have to make a performance just like the usual kem keahlian and all sorts ;) Well scouts IS about having fun right?

Alright. Now that is for Friday. On Saturday morning, we will be having a light riadah. Next will be the Fishing Skills Practice and we will also learn How To Identify Sea-Habitats.

Here's a special note from Pn Zainab:

"We don't supply foods. SO by right you should know not to buy foods you CAN'T EAT. We will eat at the local Mamak stalls so participants should take good care of oneself. Do not let your stomach grow hungry as this may causes gastric and stomach pains."

Oh by the way, tomorrow we will be handled by Marshal and accompanied by the Moto Kelana.

Well, I hope all the participants will have fun on the expedition and take good care of yourself. That's all for now.

The Second 6km walk part One.

Greetings! Yes, today the King George the Fifth Secondary School did the 6km expedition ONCE AGAIN for the Usaha Lencana. Today, our participants were 68 students and 3 teachers. The teachers were Puan Zainab, Puan Azwa and Puan Norhayaty. The AJKs incharge were Azzally, Syaqira, Khilda, Tashya Viknesh and Kishon.

Unlike the first 6km walk. Today our walk was a bit different. As you had just read from the previous post, the walkthrough for the whole expedition was from our school, to The Royale Bintang Hotel, to SK Rahang, to Pejabat Risda Negeri Sembilan, to MARA College, to Klana Resort, to Caltex and finallly the A&W. But today, the members were divided into two groups. Group One and Group Two. Group One walked from school to The Royale Bintang Hotel, to the Pejabat Risda, to Klana Resort, and finally to Caltex.

I shall type about Group Two in another post okay (;
After arrived at Caltex and took their signature for the fourth checkpoint, both groups gathered at Petronas and both group walk together to Tenaga Nasional Berhad for the last checkpoint. Then we went back to school through Georgian Green and took some photos.

The First 6km walk.

Hello! For your information, the pictures above is the first 6km walk we did during the holidays which is on the 16th of June 2010. Around 27 scouts participated. And yes we did the same walkthrough as the Merentas Desa. The walk started around 9:00am and ended around 12:00pm at the last checkpoint which is at the A&W. Overall we had collected a total of 7 signatures from the checkpoints. The checkpoints were:

1. The Royale Bintang Hotel
2. S.K Rahang
3. Pejabat Risda
4. Mara College
5. The Klana Resort Hotel
6. Caltex Service Station
7. A&W

So, uh yeah that's all.

40km Expedition,

Hello again, there will be another walk we're organising. This time it for your Lencana Expedisi.

This walk will be held this Friday, we will start walking quite early. You don't need to attend school on that day. *WOOHOOO* ;) Well, you still have to walk fourty kilometers. We will be walking all the way to Port Dickson. We have booked a campsite already.

[Who ever that hasnt gotten their letter of approval, you can go get it from Puan Zainab as soon as you possibly can]

It is a one night camp, so don't pack too much, you can look for Ahmad Fikhriey, Tashya Viknesh or any other of the AJK's for questions.

6km walk, :)

Hello, we are organising a six kilometer walk aroud Seremban town along the school's Merentas Desa track.

This is the second walk wee are going to organise. This time, it is for the ones who didn't join the walk that was organised earlier during the semester holidays.

This walk will be held this Wednesday the 7th of July during KOKO time. So, get your walking gear ready, :)
